Mount Marty Baseball hosts their final home games of the regular season today, in a doubleheader against Dakota Wesleyan.

The Lancers are currently 7th in the GPAC standings with a 12 and 12 conference record. The top-8 teams qualify for next week’s GPAC tournament.

First pitch of game one is scheduled for 1:00 PM with game two to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 12:30. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

Mount Marty Softball hosts Dordt today for their final home doubleheader of the regular season at Sertoma Park.

The Lancers are currently 8th in the GPAC with an 8 and 10 conference record. Dordt is currently 3rd in the conference at 12 and 6.

First pitch of game one will be at 2:00 PM, with game two to follow.

Yankton Gazelles Softball will be in Sioux Falls this morning for a matchup with the Sioux Falls Washington Warriors.

The Gazelles are 4 and 6 on the year following their win over Watertown on Tuesday, The Warriors are 4 and 1 overall, winning their last 4 straight.

First pitch is scheduled for 10:00 AM.

Mount Marty Track and Field captured six event titles and had a new school record set during yesterday’s MMU Twilight Meet in Yankton.

Logan Ferrari set a new school record in the men’s 5,000-meter with a time of 14 minutes 58.02 seconds, finishing 2nd in the event. Claiming event wins for the Lancers were Marcus Jnofinn (Juh-no-fin) in the men’s 100 and 200-meter runs, Ashinee George in the women’s 100-meter hurdles, and Josey Wahlstrom in the women’s 800.

The Lancers also won the men’s and women’s 400-meter relays. Jnofinn, Edwin Nyamutswa (Nee-uh-moot-swa), Mason Schleis, and Donovan Breckenridge won the men’s title, while Aniya Teppo, Zelie Sorensen, Hilaria Rodriguez and Alexis Even won the women’s title.

The Lancers are scheduled to open the Drake Relays today in Des Moines, Iowa. The Lancers are also slated to have athletes compete in the Kip Janvrin Open in Indianola, Iowa.

Yankton High School Track and Field will host the First Dakota Relays today at Williams Field in Yankton.

Athletes from 15 different schools are scheduled to compete in the meet. Field events will start at noon with running events getting underway at 12:30.

Mount Marty Women’s Tennis begins the GPAC conference tournament today in South Sioux City, Nebraska against Doane.

The Lancers are the #4 seed in this year’s conference tournament with Doane entering at #5. Matches are set to begin at 9:00 AM. The winner will face #1 seed Morningside at 1:00 PM.

Mount Marty Men’s Tennis will open the GPAC tournament tomorrow in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

The Lancers are the #2 seed on the men’s side and will face either #3 Midland or #3 Northwestern at 3:00 PM Friday.

Yankton Bucks Tennis will play host to the Watertown Arrows and Brookings Bobcats today for a triangular. Yankton will face Watertown at 11:00 and Brookings at 3:00.

Yankton Gazelles Golf has a quadrangular tomorrow at the Brandon Golf Course. Yankton will compete against Brandon Valley, Harrisburg, and O’Gorman. Tee time is scheduled for 11:00 AM.
