Yankton Bucks Basketball takes the floor tonight for the first time since January 5th, as they host the Sioux Falls Jefferson Cavaliers inside the Summit Activities Center.

The Bucks hold a  1 and 6 on the year following a loss to Mitchell in their last game, while the Cavaliers enter tonight’s game at 4 and 4.

Tip-off from Yankton is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:30. Bryce Ladwig will be on the call.

Yankton Gazelles Basketball will be on the road tonight for their first game in 10 days, as they take on the Sioux Falls Jefferson Cavaliers.

The Gazelles are 2 and 5 on the year following a loss to the Mitchell Kernels on January 5th, while the Cavaliers currently hold an 8 and 1 record.

Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Basketball hit the road tomorrow night, as they will be in Fremont, Nebraska for a GPAC doubleheader against Midland University.

The women will play first at 6:00 PM with the men to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT begins at 5:15. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

Yankton Gymnastics has a home triangular tonight, as they are scheduled to host O’Gorman and Vermillion at the River City Gymnastics & Cheer building in Yankton. Events are set to begin at 5:30 PM this evening.

The Yankton Quarterback Club is set to host their weekly meeting tomorrow at the River Rock Event Center on Broadway. 

Tomorrow’s featured guest speakers will be YHS Head Boys Basketball Coach Chris Haynes and YHS senior and 2024 Paralympic Badminton hopeful Miles Krajewski. The meeting will begin at noon on Wednesday.

A new set of South Dakota High School Basketball Media Polls were released yesterday and the Vermillion Tanager girls remain the lone area team on this week’s list, as they are receiving votes in Class A.

The Tanagers are one of three girls teams receiving votes outside of the Class A top 5, along with Sioux Falls Christian and Aberdeen Roncalli. Full polls for all classes are listed below.
