The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA), an NAIA athletic conference, recently announced that they would be disbanding following the 2024-25 school year.

This comes following the closure of Presentation College earlier this year, one of the NSAA’s member institutions, as well as the planned departures of Waldorf University, Viterbo University, and Dickinson State University. The changes leave just four remaining members in Dakota State in South Dakota, Bellevue University in Nebraska, and Valley City State University & Mayville State University, both located in North Dakota.

No announcement has been made about the plans of the four remaining institutions regarding their future conference alignment.
