Mount Marty Women’s Basketball are on the road this evening, as they travel to Madison, South Dakota to take on Dakota State.

            The Lancers are 2 and 1 on the year, coming off of a loss on Saturday to Valley City State University. The Trojans enter the contest at 1 and 2, both losses coming to teams ranked inside the top-5 in the NAIA.

            Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM this evening, pregame coverage on KYNT begins at 5:30. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

            Mount Marty Men’s Basketball are in Fargo, North Dakota tonight for an exhibition game against North Dakota State.

            This will be the second straight game for the Lancers that will not count towards their record, as they faced South Dakota on Monday. Tip-off from Fargo is slated for 7:00 PM.

            Yankton Gazelles Volleyball will make the trip to Sioux Falls tomorrow as they take on the Sioux Falls Washington Warriors in the SoDak 16.

            Yankton enter the SoDak as the #14 seed, while Washington is the #3 seed. The winner will compete in next week’s Class AA State Tournament in Rapid City.

            First serve is scheduled for 6:00 PM Thursday night, pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 5:30. Brayden Butler will be on the call.

            The Avon Pirates will play in the Class 9-B State Title game tomorrow morning inside the DakotaDome in Vermillion, as they take on Faulkton Area.

            The 9-B Championship will be the first of three title matchups tomorrow in the DakotaDome. Avon and Faulkton Area will play at 10:00 AM, Class 9-A Warner and Deubrook Area will play at 2:00 PM, and Class 9-AA Parkston vs Howard will end the day at 7:00 PM.

            Dakota Wesleyan head football coach Ross Cimpl will be the featured guest speaker at today’s meeting of the Yankton Quarterback Club. The meeting will be held at the River Rock Event Center on Broadway at 12:00 PM noon.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball will return to the hardwood tonight, as they host Dakota Wesleyan inside Frost Arena.

            The Jackrabbits enter the contest 0 and 1 on the year following their loss to Akron on Monday. Tip-off between SDSU and DWU is set for 7:00 PM in Brookings.
