The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy says it is again safe to swim on the Nebraska side of Lewis and Clark Lake.
The Beach Watch update posted yesterday says the Weigand Recreation Area beach no longer has elevated E-Coli levels. E-Coli readings at the Lake a week ago reached 1414. 200 is considered a safe level for water recreation.
