Yankton Post 12 Legion baseball will be on the road this evening as they have a double header scheduled in Harrisburg
Yankton are slated to play 5 games over the next three days, as they host Dell Rapids tomorrow night, and have games against Sioux Falls East and West on Wednesday, alongside tonight’s game.
First pitch in Harrisburg is scheduled for 5:00 PM this evening.
Yankton Fury Black had a pair of triple headers over the weekend as they went 5 and 1 over the 6 games.
Yankton’s lone loss was a 7 to 4 defeat at the hands of High Octane Softball. Over the course of Yankton’s five victories, they outscored their opponents 38 to 6, earning wins over Kansas Sluggers, KC Hotshots, and Evolution Fastpitch.
Next scheduled event for Yankton Fury Black is next weekend’s Ringneck Invitational in Sioux Falls. Yankton Fury Red are also slated to participate in the event.
South Central League Baseball Results (6-25-23)
- Crofton defeated Tabor 11 to 8. Crofton moves to 3 and 6 on the year, while Tabor is now 5 and 3 on the year.
- Wynot topped Menno 9 to 1, as Wynot got back to .500 on the year at 4 and 4.
- The South Central League returns to play on Thursday, as Menno travels to Tabor, while Yankton hosts Wynot.
