          The Mount Marty Lancers baseball team are set to resume GPAC play tomorrow afternoon against Dakota Wesleyan, but a new location has been set for the double header.

            The Lancers and Tigers are now set to meet in Seward, Nebraska for their pair of games, with first pitch of game one set for 1:00 PM. (Note: check with Tehl on these updates, the changes were sent to Tehl originally from Coach Teichroew, but have not yet been posted on social media or the website. Sunday’s DH against Concordia was also set to be relocated according to the message.)

            The Mount Marty Lancers Softball team are scheduled to return to the diamond on Sunday against Briar Cliff, in what will be their first games since March 11th.

            The Lancers and Chargers will meet in a double header at the Dordt Dome in Sioux Center, Iowa. First pitch of game one is set for 1:00 PM.

            The Mount Marty Lancers track and field team will compete in the first event of their outdoor season tomorrow at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. Day one of the two day competition will begin at 12:00 PM noon.

            The Yankton high school track and field team open their 2023 season tomorrow in an event taking place on the Mount Marty University Campus. Track events will begin at 11:00 AM, with field events set for 1:00 PM.

            Yankton Bucks tennis will have their first meet of the season tomorrow afternoon in Rapid City, South Dakota. Yankton will play Rapid City Stevens at 2:00 PM mountain, and Rapid City Central at 4:30.

            The Bucks will remain in Rapid City on Saturday for a pair of matches with Rapid City Christian and St. Thomas More.

            The Yankton Gazelles softball team will open their season on Saturday as they’re scheduled to host Sioux Falls O’Gorman. The game will take place at Sertoma Park in Yankton, with first pitch set for 2:00 PM.

            The South Dakota Coyotes women’s basketball team received a boost on Tuesday as guard Madison Grange (Grain-g) was granted an extra year of eligibility after suffering a season ending injury in November of 2022.

Grange was averaging 11.0 points and 4.0 rebounds through the first five games before the injury, and has recorded 746 points, 304 rebounds and 166 assists in her collegiate career.
