The Yankton Bucks hosted the Pierre Governors last night in what was a tightly contested ESD basketball matchup. Neither team was able to pull away throughout the night, but a three pointer from Isaiah Schelhaas (Scell-hoss) to end the 3rd quarter put the Bucks up one going into the final period.

A Mac Ryken bucket from beyond the arc with just over 6 minutes left in the 4th would give Yankton the lead. With the clock winding down and the Bucks up 3, Mac Ryken came up with the game sealing takeaway.

Drew Ryken would hit both free throws after he was intentionally fouled, and the Bucks would secure a 56 to 51 victory. Next time the Bucks take the floor will be on Monday night, on the road in Huron at 7:00 PM. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV will begin at 6:30.
