  • Yankton Basketball returns TONIGHT as the Brookings Bobcats tipoff with Yankton at the Summit Activities Center for a girls/boys varsity double-header. This is the first game action for either Yankton team in nearly three weeks. The Gazelles are currently 0-3 this season and are looking for their first victory of the year, while the Bucks are 1-0 overall and in ESD Conference action. Catch the action LIVE on KYNT and KYNTV with the voice of Yankton Sports, Bryce Ladwig, pregame coverage begins at 3pm. Also of note, in between the girls and boys varsity games, the 2022 Yankton Boys Tennis State Championship Team will be honored as the banner is unveiled at the Summit Activities Center.
  • The Mount Marty Women’s Basketball team returns to action tonight  as they host Presentation College at Cimpl Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 3pm. You can catch the action on 94.3 FM and KYNTV with Tehl Tanner, pregame coverage begins at 230pm. Then tomorrow, both the Lancer Men and Women host Dordt for a GPAC Double-Header, beginning with the men at 1pm. That pregame coverage begins at 1230pm on KYNT and KYNTV with Tehl Tanner.
  • South Dakota Coyote Basketball resumed action after the holiday break last night, with the Coyote Men defeating St. Thomas 92-84 at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center to secure their first conference victory of the season, and the Coyote Women squeezed by St Thomas on the road in Saint Paul, MN 58-56. The Coyotes now turn their attention towards Western Illinois tomorrow, with the (6-8) men hosting the Leathernecks at 1pm, and the (7-7) women traveling to Macomb, Illinois for a 2pm tipoff.
