The NCAA Division I FCS Football playoffs is down to four semifinalists. The two Dakota schools now face Incarnate Word and Montana State this weekend for their chance to go the Championship Game in Frisco, Texas in January.

Friday                 #7 Incarnate Word vs #3 North Dakota State (6pm)

Saturday             #4 Montana State vs #1 South Dakota State (3pm)

  • Coming off an exciting season opening upset victory over previously #2 ranked Harrisburg this past Friday, the (1-0) Yankton Bucks seek to carry the momentum into their matchup tonight at (0-1) Sioux Falls Washington. You can catch the action LIVE on KYNT and KYNTV, pregame coverage begins at 630/tipoff at 7.

The (0-3) Yankton Gazelles basketball squad is still in search of their first win of the season and will have another chance tonight at HOME vs (1-0) Sioux Falls Washington. Game time for the Gazelles is set for 7pm from the Summit Activities Center.

  • Riverfront Sports has the action tonight as Cedar Catholic travels to Crofton for a girls/boys varsity basketball double-header. Tehl Tanner has the call of the action on the Riverfront Sports app, or this stations website. Pregame coverage begins at 545pm, tipoff at 615.
  • The (4-6) USD Women’s Basketball team host UT Martin tomorrow at the SCSC. Tipoff is scheduled for 530pm. This is the last non-conference matchup for the Yotes. The game will be followed by the (5-6) Men’s team, playing host to Coastal Carolina. This will also be the men’s final non-conference game of the season.
  • Yankton Gymnastics hosts a varsity triangular tonight, hosting Huron and Madison at the River City Gymnastics Center. Competition begins at 530pm. A reminder, the River City Gymnastics Center is located in the mall at the old JC Penny Location, you may use the back entrance.
  • The Yankton Quarterback Club continues at noon tomorrow at JoDean’s. The guest speaker is Mount Marty Men’s Basketball Coach Colin Authier. Speaking begins at 12pm, and a lunch buffet is available for purchase.
