The Calvary Baptist Church in Yankton is participating in Operation Christmas Child, which is a program designed to fill a shoe box full of toys, hygiene items, and school supplies for kids in need around the world.
Valeri Grave, one of the coordinators for Operation Christmas Child at Calvary Baptist spoke about the program.
Grave says that the church has gotten a great response to the program this year.
Grave says that the church has empty shoe boxes available that can be picked up during office hours.
The final day to drop off a shoe box at the church is Monday.
