  • The Gazelles Volleyball program secured a road victory over Vermillion last night in four sets (26-24, 25-19, 21-25, 25-18). The Gazelles were led by McDermott’s 44 assists and 19 digs. Koller led Yankton with 20 digs to go along with 10 kills. Drotzmann tallied 16 kills to go along with 14 digs. Yankton, now 3-11, host Sioux Falls Christian Monday evening.   • Yankton finished third at the Marsha Koebernick Invitational Cross County Meet yesterday in South Sioux City, finishing with 46 points, while Bishop Heelan won the team title with 36 points. Yankton’s Thea Chance won the Class A girls’ race, finishing in 20:53.42. Dylan Payer finished third in the Class A Boy’s race with a 16:58.46. Sioux City North won the boys team title with 23 points, while Yankton finished third with 47 points.
  • The (3-2) Yankton Bucks Football squad travels to Dana J Dykhouse Stadium tonight for a varsity football clash with the (4-1) Brookings Bobcats. You can catch the action live on KYNT and KYNTV with Bryce Ladwig and Josh Boelter, pregame 6pm, kickoff 7pm.
