  • Yankton Gazelles Volleyball (0-2) travel to Harrisburg (2-0) for a Class AA and ESD Conference matchup tonight. Yankton is coming off a 1-3 showing at the Norfolk (NE) Volleyball Tournament this past weekend. First serve is set for 7pm.
  • Yankton Gazelles Tennis went 2-1 at the Brookings Hillcrest Jamboree over the weekend, defeating Brookings 8-1, Harrisburg 6-3, and Huron 6-3 but falling to Aberdeen Central 5-4. Gazelles Tennis now travels to McKennan Park in Sioux Falls this evening for a Sioux Falls O’Gorman triangular, first serve 11am with Yankton facing off against Brandon Valley.
  • Yankton Gazelles Golf competes in the Marchand Cup today at the Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton. Tee off time for varsity is 2pm. The Marchand Cup is an annual competition vs Mitchell, featuring multiple play styles, including scramble play, match play, and best ball.
  • The Mount Marty men’s and women’s soccer programs swept Buena Vista University yesterday evening in non-conference action. The Lancer women defeated Buena Vista 4-1 and now hold a 1-0-2 record to begin the season. The Lancer men got the win with a score of 2-0 and remain unbeaten to begin the season with a 2-0-1 record. Next up, both teams will travel to Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln on Thursday for two games. The men will play first with the action beginning at 6 p.m.
  • Tonight at 6 p.m. there will be live athletics in the Cimpl Arena for the first time since February as the Lancer volleyball team holds their home opener. The Lancers will face Presentation College for the second time in two weeks tonight at 7:30 p.m. MMU defeated Presentation in the season opener in 4 sets. Then tomorrow, the Lancers will play on the court of the Cimpl arena once again, this time at 6 p.m. vs York College.
