• The (8-1) Yankton Post 12 Baseball Team is set to host Post 911 of Sioux Falls at 1030am this morning, and Spearfish at 730pm tonight! These games are a part of the Lewis and Clark Classic, another weekend tournament split into three sites (Yankton, Vermillion and Crofton), with each featuring five teams. The classic runs through Sunday. You can catch all the Yankton action on KYNT and KYNTV with Bryce Ladwig, pregame coverage begins 30 minutes prior to scheduled first pitch.
  • The game time has been set, South Dakota football will travel to Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in Brookings on October 8th for the annual SD Showdown Series football matchup with the SDSU Jackrabbits. Kickoff set for 2pm. The South Dakota Coyotes have won the last two meetings with SDSU, and won this past years SD Showdown Series Trophy, which is an accumulation of head-to-head athletic events and academic accomplishments within the various athletic programs.
  • Sophomore Eerik Haamer placed 13th in the men’s pole vault for second-team All-America accolades Wednesday evening at the NCAA Championship. Haamer cleared 17-8 ½ (5.40m) on a third attempt to finish in 13th place. He’s garnered three All-America accolades in his career with the other two coming in the indoor season. Haamer was one of five underclassmen to place in the top-16. The women take the stage today with Marleen Mülla and Jaidyn Garrett competing in the women’s pole vault at 8 p.m. from Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
