  • The season opener for Yankton Bucks Baseball was scheduled for today, but weather conditions have forced a re-scheduling of the varsity double-header vs Harrisburg to April 22nd. The new season opener will now be a double-header Saturday vs Brookings at 230pm at Riverside Field in Yankton. You can listen or watch the game on KYNT and KYNTV with Josh Boelter, pregame 230pm, first pitch 3pm.
  • It’s gameday in Brookings, the Jackrabbit Women’s Basketball squad is coming off a 78-73 victory over Alabama in the quarterfinal round of the WNIT in front of 4,268 fans at Frost Arena this past Sunday night. The Jackrabbit Women now play in the semifinal round for the second time in program history this evening, hosting UCLA at 7pm.
  • The South Dakota Archers Association is hosting the South Dakota NFAA State Indoor Championships. This two-day event will feature a 60 arrow NFAA indoor round each day on April 2nd and April 3rd.
  • The long stretch of road games to open the 2022 season for the South Dakota State baseball team is scheduled to come to an end this weekend as the Jackrabbits resume conference play with a three-game series at Summit League newcomer St. Thomas. Friday’s series opener is set for a 3 pm first pitch at Koch Diamond on the UST campus in St. Paul, Minnesota. Games Saturday and Sunday are slated for 1 pm starts. South Dakota State enters the weekend with a 6-15 overall record having played all 21 of its games away from home.
  • Yankton Bucks Tennis takes their 6-0 team record on the road tomorrow to Brandon Valley for a varsity triangular vs both the Lynx and Mitchell. First serve is set for 11am.
