  • The South Dakota Coyote Women Basketball Team have had an historic season to this point, and are looking to further their momentous campaign by punching a ticket to the Elite Eight by defeating Michigan this Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30pm at Intrust Arena in Wichita, Kansas and can viewed on ESPN2. Tickets are available through the Coyote Ticket Office.
  • Black Hills State University Men’s Basketball is looking to advance to the NCAA Division II National Basketball Championship for the first time in school history later this afternoon. The Yellow Jackets face off against Northwest Missouri State at 3pm CT. It can be viewed on CBS Sports Network.
  • Two Yankton athletics programs are in action tomorrow. Yankton Track and Field competes in the Mount Marty University Invitational beginning at 10am. Yankton Boys Tennis opens their season on the road at Rapid City Stevens for an invitational. Competition begins at 1pm Mountain Time.
  • South Dakota women’s volleyball coach Leanne Williamson is pleased to announce the addition of Alaina Wolff to the roster for the 2022 fall campaign. Wolff, from Jackson, Minnesota, spent the past two school years at Wayne State College and plans to transfer to South Dakota with three seasons of eligibility remaining.
  • Ten Coyotes, six women and four men, were named to the Summit League’s all-academic teams for indoor track and field announced Wednesday by the league office. Representing the Coyote women are fourth-year junior Haley Arens, fifth-year senior Holly Gerberding, third-year sophomore Carly Haring, third year sophomore Gen Hirata, second-year freshman Abrielle Jirele and second-year freshman Sara Reifenrath. Representing the Coyote men are third-year sophomore Marshall Faurot, second-year freshman Eerik Haamer, third-year sophomore Dylan Kautz and fourth-year junior Jessie Sullivan.
  • The South Dakota Coaches Association have identified its selections for the 2022 Girls Basketball All-State Basketball Team. The selections will be released to the public and right here on KYNT tomorrow morning.
