  • The (3-5) Yankton Gazelles Basketball squad travels to (4-5) Sioux Falls Jefferson today, this will be the first ever matchup between the two schools. Bryce Ladwig will provide on-air updates during the Yankton Bucks broadcast occurring at the same time.
  • The (5-4) Yankton Bucks prepare to host (4-5) Sioux Falls Jefferson tonight at the Summit Center in varsity basketball action you can catch the action live on KYNT and KYNTV with Bryce Ladwig. Pregame coverage begins at 630pm, tipoff at 7.
  • The Yankton Bucks received votes in the latest South Dakota Media Basketball Poll for Class AA boys. Sioux Falls Roosevelt (7-0) was a unanimous pick for the top spot.

  • The Yankton Gazelles gymnastic teams honored its seniors and posted a season high team score during last night’s meet against Vermillion at the River City Gymnastics Center in Yankton. The Gazelles set a season high in points and won the meet 138.15-133.2. The Tanagers are back in Yankton Friday, as the Gazelles host Harrisburg and Vermillion in a triangular.
  • Both the Lancer Men’s and Women’s Basketball Programs head south tomorrow evening for a GPAC double-header clash with Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. The women (2-18) are coming off a 68-39 loss at Dakota Wesleyan University Sunday afternoon. The women defeated Midland on December 1st to secure their sole GPAC victory of the season, and are looking to complete the sweep tomorrow.

The men (5-16) fell short 50-43 most recently at Dakota Wesleyan on Sunday, and are looking to right the ship.
