LOCAL SPORTS WRAP 10-15-21

  • Yankton Gazelles Volleyball hosted Pierre in an ESD Conference clash last night at the Summit, but fell short in three sets 27-25, 25-21, 25-22. The Gazelles fought hard in each set, and even came within a point of stealing the first set from Pierre.

Gazelles coach Chelsea Law says the team was very competitive with one of the top ranked teams in the state, but offensive errors were the main culprit for the loss.

The Gazelles, now (10-12), travel to Aberdeen on Saturday, first serve 5pm.
