  • Yankton Gazelles Volleyball (10-11) looks to use the momentum gained from this past weekends East-West Tournament where they went 4-1 overall.   • Yankton Competitive Dance and Cheer will compete in the ESD Meet tomorrow in Watertown. Competition is set to begin at 5pm. The Yankton Dance Team is coming off a 1st place finish in Mitchell this past Saturday.
  • The Yankton Cross Country squad gets prepared for the Huron Invitational tomorrow at Broadland Creek Golf Course. Varsity competition begins at 4pm.

  • The Las Vegas Raiders named Rich Bisaccia their interim head coach after their head coach, Jon Gruden, resigned Monday evening. Bisaccia played defensive back for Yankton College before earning his degree and starting his coaching career at Wayne State College some twenty years ago. The Raiders will play their first game under Bisaccia’s leadership Sunday in Denver for a late afternoon kick-off against the Broncos.
