Bucks golf took their first swing of the 2021 season today at Brandon Valley, for day one of the Lynx Invitational. Sioux Falls Lincoln took a day one lead shooting a 297 as a team, 12 strokes better than the team holding second, Sioux Falls O’Gorman. The Bucks are in the middle of the pack as of now with a 333 score. Individually, Bennett Geraets leads all with a 72 score, just one stroke ahead of his teammate Jack Hilgenberg. Yankton’s Dawson Vellek leads the Bucks effort with a 78, tying him at 9th with three other golfers. Day 2 continues today on the links in Brandon, with a tee time of 8am.
