The Tappers pounded out 16 hits and rolled past the Lakers 14-8 last night in the amateur baseball battle of Yankton at Riverside Field. Lesterville squeezed past Tabor 10-7 in 11 innings in the annual Czech Days opener, while Crofton topped Irene 10-2 in South Central League play.
