Yankton Post 12 ended up finishing second in the Kyle Mueller Classic for Legion baseball teams this weekend at Riverside Field. After winning three of four games in pool play, Yankton crushed South Sioux City 12-2 in the semifinals on Sunday as Drew Ryken pitched the complete-game win. Lincoln Southeast then won the championship with a 14-5 victory over Yankton. Rugby Ryken drove in five runs yesterday for Post 12. Yankton is 5-5 on the season with a twin bill at Watertown Tuesday, and will then host Rapid City Post 22 Wednesday night in a game broadcast on KYNT and all KYNTV platforms.
