Mount Marty University freshman Mason Schleis stands in eighth place and sophomore Seth Wiebelhaus is 13th after the opening day of the NAIA National Men’s Decathlon. That event concludes today at the national meet in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Lancers also have their 4 by 400 Men’s Relay competing for honors, and Paul Paul will run the Men’s 400-meter dash later today.
