Hartington Cedar Catholic sophomore Carson Noecker blazed to a victory Friday in the Nebraska Class C boys 3200 with an all-time state record of 9.24.56, breaking a 31-year-old state mark.
Jordyn Arens of Crofton won the Class A girls 3200 yesterday in Omaha by a 31-second margin.
The Nebraska state track meet concludes today in Omaha.
