The Mount Marty baseball team edged Dordt 3-1 in the opening game Friday as Tyler Priest tossed six innings for the win and Billy Hancock smashed a two-run homer for the winning margin. Dordt outscored Mount Marty 13-8 in the second contest, snapping the Lancers seven-game winning streak. Billy Hancock belted another two-run homer while Charley Illg drove in three runs and Caid Koletzky had three hits. Mount Marty completes their home season today with a 1:00 doubleheader against Dordt at Riverside Field. The Lancer seniors will be honored tonight after the games, and we’ll have the broadcast of both games starting at 12:40 pm on KYNT Sports.
