Mount Marty senior Blake Svoboda has been named the G-PAC Pitcher of the Week. Svoboda fired a seven-inning complete game five-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts at Jamestown Saturday. For the season, Svoboda is now 4-2 with a 3.75 ERA and has 47 K’s in 36 innings.
The Lancers are now tied for third in the conference at 11-8 and will host Dordt in a pair of doubleheaders this Friday and Saturday at Bob Tereshinski Stadium at Riverside Field.
