Carson Haak won the shot put while numerous other Yankton athletes secured top-eight finishes at the Invitational track and field meet Saturday in Brandon Valley. Yankton returns to Brandon Valley on Tuesday for a triangular with the aforementioned Lynx and the Mitchell Kernels. The event is set to begin at 4pm.
