Concordia held off Mount Marty 10-9 in the second game of a baseball twin bill to complete a sweep over the Lancers Saturday at Riverside Field. The 20th-ranked Bulldogs won the opener 10-3 as Jesse Garcia led their attack with three homers and five RBI’s on the day. Colin Muth of Yankton paced the Lancers with four hits Saturday, including a home run and double. Mount Marty is now 5 and 7 in the G-PAC and tied for sixth place in the standings.
The Mount Marty junior varsity baseball team hosts Midland in a doubleheader this afternoon at Riverside Field. The Lancer softball twin bill scheduled at York College today has been postponed. The Mount Marty men’s golf team will compete in a tournament today in Columbus, Nebraska.
