South Dakota swept Western Illinois twice in volleyball over the weekend and the Coyotes finished third in the Summit League regular season with 12 wins and 3 losses. USD will face second-seed Kansas City in the Summit League tourney Friday at the Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
Texas-Arlington downed South Dakota 6-1 yesterday on the final day of the Bevo Softball Classic in Austin, Texas. The Coyotes are 5-24 on the season as they begin Summit League softball at home Friday in two games against North Dakota.
