The Mount Marty baseball squad defeated Valley City Saturday by scores of 7-1 and 9-5 to complete a four-game sweep at Riverside Field. Dylan Nicholson threw six shutout innings in the opener for the Lancers, while Colin Muth of Yankton totaled four hits and six RBI’s for the doubleheader. Mount Marty is 12-6 on the baseball season and will host Dakota State in a nine-inning game Wednesday.
