The Yankton Bucks used a big second half to roll past Douglas 78-50 Saturday in the Class AA SoDak 16 playoff at the Summit Activities Center. Matthew Mors led the Bucks with 35 points as they take an 18-3 overall record into the state tourney.
The second-seed Yankton Bucks will face the Mitchell Kernels next Thursday, March 18th at 6:00 Central time in the AA Boys Tournament in Rapid City.
SoDak 16 Boys Basketball games will be played tonight to decide berths in next week’s Class A and Class B state tournaments. Vermillion takes on Milbank, Viborg-Hurley faces Corsica-Stickney and Wagner meets Sioux Valley this evening.
