Northwestern held Mount Marty without a basket for a ten-minute stretch midway through the game and defeated the Lancers 73-57 Tuesday night in the GPAC men’s basketball championship game. The Raiders earned an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament with their 13th consecutive victory. Elijah Pappas led the Lancers with 20 points and Jailen Billings added 19 points. It was Mount Marty’s first trip to a GPAC men’s basketball title game and they ended up with at 11-17 this season.
