The USD football squad upset Illinois State 27-20 on Saturday and the Coyotes have moved into the 20th spot in this week’s FCS Stats national poll. South Dakota will visit fourth-ranked North Dakota Thursday evening with a 5:00 kickoff.
USD senior Brady Schutt was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. Schutt averaged nearly 46 yards on seven punts for the Coyotes on Saturday.
