Crofton, Hartington Cedar Catholic and Wynot will each be headed to the Nebraska Girls Basketball state tournament in Lincoln next week after winning District titles Friday night. In the first half, top-ranked Crofton caused 16 Freeman turnovers and scored 24 consecutive points which resulted in a 62-16 rout over the Falcons. Lacey Sprakel led the Lady Warriors with 20 points, including a perfect 10 of 10 from the free throw line. Third-seed Hartington Cedar Catholic scored 15 of the final 16 points to rally past Summerland 36-30. Sixth-seed Wynot rolled past Sioux County 64-37 on Friday.
