The Hartington Cedar Catholic boys basketball team won a sub-district title last night with a 52-39 win over Lutheran Northeast as sophomore Jaxson Bernecker led the Trojans with 17 points. Wynot upset top-seed St. Mary’s 42-38 Thursday to win a sub-district championship.
Crofton, Hartington Cedar Catholic and Wynot will each take the court tonight in the Nebraska Girls Basketball District Finals. Winning teams this evening qualify for the state high school girls baseball tournament next week in Lincoln.
