The top-ranked Crofton defense held tenth-ranked North Central to just four points in the first half on their way to a 56-24 victory in the Class C-2 sub-district title game last night. Lacey Sprakel led the Lady Warriors with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Hartington Cedar Catholic downed Boyd County 50-32 in Class D-1, and Wynot rolled past Randolph 53-23 in a Class D-2 sub-district championship. Crofton, Hartington Cedar Catholic and Wynot will each compete in district finals next Friday to try and qualify for the state girls basketball tournament in Lincoln.
