USD freshman Sara Reifenrath from Hartington was named the Summit League Women’s Track Athlete of the Week after running the 400-meter dash in 54.33 at the Division One Challenge in Kansas and breaking a 20-year-old record for the Coyotes. USD senior Ethan Bray was selected as the Summit League Men’s Field Athlete of the Week after winning the pole vault in Kansas with a career best mark of 18 feet, 5 inches. The Coyotes will compete Saturday at the SDSU Last Chance meet in Brookings.
Mount Marty University athletes will go for honors this Friday and Saturday in the G-PAC Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa.
