The top-seed Crofton Lady Warriors caused 32 Laurel-Concord-Coleridge turnovers and rolled past the Lady Bears 71-41 last night in a Class C-2 sub-district contest. Crofton will take on tenth-seed North Central Thursday night at 7:00.
Class D-1 fourth-seed Hartington Cedar Catholic got 24 points from Brynn Wortmann in a 71-50 victory over Niobrara-Verdigre on Tuesday. In the second game, Boyd County edged Hartington-Newcastle 47-45 so the winners will meet Thursday for the sub-district title.
In Class D-2, Wynot crushed Winside 58-26 and will face Randolph Thursday night for the sub-district championship.
