The Mount Marty University women’s basketball team snapped their nine-game losing streak last night with hot shooting from the field in a 79-71 victory over Hastings at the Cimpl Arena. The Lancers connected on 58 percent of their shots, including 54 percent from three-point range. Sophomore Carlie Wetzel made 8 of 9 attempts and had a career-high 21 points while senior Karlee McKinney added 18 points. Mount Marty got their second G-PAC win and is now 4-14 overall.
