Former Yankton High School teacher and coach Ginger Larsen has been selected as the recipient of the Ralph Ginn Award for Coaching Excellence from South Dakota State University. Larsen coached for 33 years and helped to start the Gazelles volleyball program which placed in the top four at the Double-A state tournament six different times. She also coached basketball, track and tennis at Yankton High School, and was a four-year letter-winner for the Jackrabbits before graduating in 1980..
