The Mount Marty University football and women’s basketball programs each got a commitment from a top in-state student athlete in the past few days. Brandon Dannenbring has signed with the Lancer football team. Dannenbring is a six-foot tall, 210-pound linebacker from Sioux Falls Roosevelt. The Lancer women’s basketball program has added Macy Kempf from Mitchell High School, who is a 5’11” forward for the Kernels.
Over the weekend, the University of South Dakota football program announced a transfer from the University of Iowa. Daraun McKinney is a 5’10” defensive back from suburban Detroit who played three games last year for the Hawkeyes.
