The Yankton Gazelles had a season-best score of 136.85 to place sixth out of 12 teams in the Brookings Gymnastics Invitational on Saturday. Junior Alison Johnson led the Gazelles by winning the Vault competition and placing fourth in the All-Around with a 35.6 total.
The Yankton Bucks finished ninth at the Brandon Valley Wrestling Invitational on Saturday. Dylan Sloan and Zavier Leonard each took fourth place in their weight classes at Brandon. The Bucks wrestle in a triangular tonight at Brookings.
