The South Dakota women’s basketball team crushed Kansas City on Friday by a 92-34 score as Liv Korngable scored a career-high 24 points for the Coyotes. The USD men’s team held off the Kangaroos 66-64 as the Coyote men stayed unbeaten in the Summit League. The schools will face each other again today in Kansas City.
The South Dakota State women downed Western Illinois 71-61 as Jackrabbit coach Aaron Johnston won his 500th career game. SDSU outscored Western Illinois 83-77 in the men’s game on Friday.
