COVID-19 Numbers Stay Low in South Dakota

For the second consecutive day, the South Dakota COVID-19 dashboard reported zero deaths linked to the coronavirus in the state.  The death toll remained at 1,513 in South Dakota with active cases and hospitalizations down about fifty percent over the past two months.

The SD Department of Corrections did report a sixth prison inmate died from the virus earlier this week.  The state website says the inmate was being held in the Sioux Falls Community Work Center.
