Mount Marty led in the opening six minutes last night, but South Dakota State used a big rebounding advantage and 59 percent field goal shooting to roll past the Lancers 93-50 in men’s basketball at Brookings. Matt Dentlinger led the Jacks with 21 points and 8 rebounds, while Gio Diaz topped the Lancers with 9 points. South Dakota State is now 6-3 overall after playing their first basketball game in 23 days and their first men’s game at Frost Arena in over ten months! The game was an exhibition for Mount Marty and the Lancers will now prepare for a G-PAC doubleheader Wednesday night against Northwestern at the Cimpl Arena.
