SD Civil Air Patrol Joins Search for MissingWoman

The South Dakota Civil Air Patrol joined the search over the weekend for a woman who went missing during last week’s blizzard in Day County.  The CAP noted they are searching areas that people from the roads may not have been able to get to.

Amy Dougherty was last seen when she left for work Wednesday afternoon, driving in blizzard conditions from Bristol to Andover.  She was driving a black Chevy Trailblazer.

Authorities says they have checked every road they believe she might have taken, but as of Sunday evening still haven’t located Dougherty or her vehicle.
