Yankton placed sixth out of 12 teams at the Mitchell Gymnastics Invitational on Saturday. The host Kernels won the meet with a 146.1 total, while the Gazelles scored a 135.5. Yankton was led by junior Alison Johnson who had a 9.5 on the vault, tying for first place out of 55 competitors in that event.
