Brandon Valley rallied in the fourth quarter to edge Yankton 62-60 last night in boys basketball. Jackson Hilton led the Lynx with 25 points including a go-ahead three-point basket with two minutes to play. Matthew Mors topped the Bucks with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaden Kral chipped in 13 points. Yankton is 2 and 1 on the season and the Gazelles and Bucks will have a doubleheader at Sioux Falls O’Gorman on Tuesday.
The Yankton Bucks wrestling squad will compete today in the Warrior Invitational at Sioux Falls Washington. The Gazelles gymnastics team will go for honors this afternoon at the Mitchell Invitational.
