In the Dakota Showcase for men’s basketball last night in the Pentagon, North Dakota edged South Dakota 75-71. Stanley Umude led the winless Coyotes with 30 points. In the nightcap, South Dakota State nipped North Dakota State 77-75.
The U-S-D women’s basketball squad won at Wichita State last night 62-54 as senior Chloe Lamb led the Coyotes with 29 points and 11 rebounds. It was the 300th college coaching victory for South Dakota’s Dawn Plitzuweit.
