The University of South Dakota women’s basketball team routed Lipscomb 88-51 Sunday afternoon in Vermillion. It was the Coyotes first win after two close losses to top-20 teams South Carolina and Gonzaga. Senior Hannah Sjerven topped the Coyotes with 25 points, while freshman Kyah Watson had 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The South Dakota women play at Wichita State Thursday night.
The U-S-D men’s basketball game at Kansas City Saturday night was cancelled.
